Kairi's First Day

Kairi had her first day of preschool! She LOVED it!!! She kept asking me everyday for the past week when she was going to go. Then she told me that I would take her to preschool and she would say, "Bye Mom," and I would say, "Bye Kairi!" She goes two days a week and is already learning so much! When I took her on her first day she didn't look back, then when she got in the car she told me that she was so BRAVE!! Penelope isn't too sure about the whole preschool thing. The whole time Kairi is gone is she asks me a hundred times where Kairi is. They both are so funny!!
 Isn't she so cute

Another day

Last night at dinner I was able to do the heimlich maneuver AGAIN! Nick started choking on his dinner and made the "i'm choking sign." Me being awesome jumped up and started doing the heimlich. Luckily it didn't take long for him to start breathing again. I'm glad that I was able to save him and that I know the heimlich. He is a lucky that I was there.

Krazy Kelleys

Update on the Kelley's
* We have moved to Arizona and are living with my parents.
* Nick got a job at Amazon.com working in the warehouse. He is excited to have some job!
* We are having another ....   GIRL!!! She is due Dec. 15th. We are all really excited. Nick has come to expect that he will only have girls.
* Kairi is starting preschool next week and we can't get her to take off her backpack. She is excited and asks me everyday when she gets to go.
* Penelope has become a real talker since we moved in and can say everything! She loves my parents dog and he can't get a nap in while she is awake. She will walk over and lay on him and wouldn't ever leave him alone.
That is basically all that has been going on! It has been fun living with my parents and being around my family. The girls are having a lot with their cousins. We are looking forward to whatever adventures come are way. Fun fun times

Quick trip to the Lone State!

A couple weeks ago we had the opportunity to go to Texas and visit family. It was a fun road trip, the first day we drove from Phoenix to San Antonio (it was only 15 hours in the car). The girls did really well. We bought a portable DVD which was a life saver for Penelope. Then on Saturday we drove up to Austin to visit Travis and Ashley. Kairi and Penelope were so excited to see there cousins and to get out of the car. Travis bought us donuts from Round Rock Donuts, if you have ever seen "Man VS. Food," that is where he goes and so we HAD to try their donuts. They were really good!! Thanks Travis for getting the donuts! Then we headed to Houston and spent a couple days with Nick's parents. It was so good to see them and for them to the girls. The girls had so much fun and were excited to be there. We were able to go to Grandmother's and Papa's for the day and have some good old country cooking. We had chicken and dumplings!! SO GOOD!!! On are way back to Arizona we decided to stop by the Blue Bell Factory and had a tour. Can you say AWESOME!! It was interesting to learn all that goes in to making some of the best ice cream in the world. At the end of the tour they give you a cup of ice cream which is the best part of the tour. Then we spent the night at Travis's since all the hotels between San Antonio and El Paso were booked. We went to the Oasis on Lake Travis for dinner, the food was okay but the view is great.  It's ranked in the top ten places to have dinner at sunset, if only the sun didn't go down until 9:30. The girls loved sleeping over and were really sad when we left.  Hopefully we will be able to go down again soon!!

Look at my donut!! It's bigger than my head.
