The trains

A few weeks ago we took the girls to the coolest backyard I have ever seen. This backyard had four or five train going around little towns, around waterfalls and lakes, and thru tunnels. It's owned by the man who owns my favorite Mexican restaurant. The girls and Nick LOVED it!

Dear Santa

We took the girls to Macy to mail their letters to Santa. Kairi asked for Polly Pockets and a dress-up. Penelope asked for toys and a candy cane.
Yes, Penelope now loves to wear dress-ups where ever we go

Santa we have been really good this year!!!!!

The temple lights

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is going to see the temple Christmas lights. We took the girls there a few weeks ago and they loved it. Kairi's favorite part was the Nativity and Penelope loved all the lights. The temple lights are so BEAUTIFUL!!!! I love the spirit that is felt on the Temple ground and I'm grateful that the temple is so close.

Elena Eve Kelley

Elena is finally here! We are so excited that she is here and she is perfect! She was born on December 14th at 9:52 PM. I started having contractions earlier that day but nothing consistent. Around five that night they started to get closer together. Around eight my contractions were about five minutes apart and Nick made me go to the hospital. We checked in at 8:47 and I thought I had plenty of time for an epidural since my contractions were still about 3 to 4 minutes apart. WRONG! They checked me and I was at an 8. So they hurried to get my IV in so I could get one. By the time they got me to a room my contractions were really bad and they checked me and I was at a 10. They made me keep my knees together and wait for my doctor  to get there. He only live 8 minutes away, it was the longest 8 minutes of my life.  Finally he ran in and grabbed his gloves. I pushed for a few seconds and out she came. When she came out her head was facing up instead of facing down which is a blessing, since the nurse said that if she would have been facing down she would have come out at home and that I wouldn't have made it to the hospital. What a blessing! She is perfect. 8 lbs 3 ounces and 21 3/4 inches long. The previous Monday when I had gone to the doctor he said he thinks she is between 6 to 7 lbs. Once they weighed her my doctor told me that I did a great job of disguising her real weight. She is my biggest baby and I still can't believe how fast she came.

Being thankful

November is a wonderful month, during this month I like to think about all that I have and all that I'm grateful for. I have decided to post everyday about one thing that I am thankful for. I didn't do it yesterday, so I will put two things on this post.

Nov. 1 - I am thankful to be a mother

I love my girls!!

Nov 2nd- I'm grateful for a hard working husband. Who always make me laugh and is a great father.
